Privacy
Treble Four Ltd is the data controller for this website. The site is small and so is the amount of information it handles: aggregate statistics about visits, and whatever you choose to write in the contact form.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate: how many people visit, how many sessions there are, roughly where in the world they are, which site or search referred them, how long they stay, and which sections of the page they reach.
Advertising features, remarketing, audience profiling and Google Signals are switched off. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use marketing pixels, and we do not share this data with anyone for advertising. We are looking at patterns, not at people.
Cookies and storage
The site sets very little:
-
Google Analytics cookies (
_gaand_ga_<id>) distinguish one visitor from another so that visits are not counted twice. They expire after two years. -
One item of local storage
(
tf.analytics-choice) remembers that you have seen or answered the analytics notice, so it is not shown again. It stays on your device until you clear it.
Nothing else is stored. There is no advertising cookie, no cross-site tracker and no third-party embed on the page. Clearing your browser storage removes all of it, and browser-level do-not-track and blocking tools are respected by simply working: if the analytics script is blocked, the site is unaffected.
The contact form
The form asks for a name, an email address and a message. It is sent to us by email so that we can reply. We also record the time of the message and the IP address it came from, briefly, to limit automated abuse of the form.
Where it is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a submission is not automated. It sees your IP address and basic browser signals for that check. It does not track you across sites and does not build an advertising profile.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and there is no mailing list to be added to.
Keeping and sharing it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is useful and reviewed periodically; those that lead nowhere are deleted within twelve months. Analytics data is retained by Google for fourteen months and then deleted automatically.
We share personal data with two kinds of company only: the email provider that carries your message to us, and Google as the analytics provider. Both may process data outside the UK under the safeguards their own terms provide. Nobody buys this data from us, because we do not sell it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Our basis for handling enquiries is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us; for analytics it is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser.
To make any of those requests, use the contact form. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
